Apple Banana Smoothie is a healthy smoothie recipe that is made within 10 mins. It is a simple smoothie recipe that can be taken as breakfast or a healthy drink during your workout. This apple banana smoothie will fill your tummy since it has whole apples and bananas. If you have busy mornings, then this smoothie will be apt since it takes very little time to prepare.

This smoothie contains only fewer ingredients such as boiled milk, apple, banana and jaggery powder (Naatu Sakkarai). Adding jaggery powder is completely optional. You can either add sugar or leave them without adding any sweeteners since the fruits themselves contains sweet. You can also add nuts of your choice and ice cubes if you wish them to add. Ingredients for making Apple Banana Smoothie
- 1 1/2 cup Boiled and Chilled Milk
- 2 Bananas (I used Robusta Bananas)
- 1 Apple
- 1 tbsp Jaggery Powder (Optional)
- 3 to 4 Ice Cubes

Steps for making Apple Banana Smoothie
Take a blender jar and add chopped apples, bananas. You can peel the skin of the apple to get a smoother texture. I used two robusta bananas (Pachchai Vaazhaipazham or Morees), but you can prefer any type of bananas of your choice. These robusta bananas tasted amazing in this smoothie.

Then add jaggery powder to the fruits. You can either add jaggery powder or sugar to them. I prefer jaggery powder to sugar.

Then add milk to the ingredients. Make sure you have a bit long jar so that when you blend them, they will spill not outside.

Next, add ice cubes to them. If you want, you can add them or else you can add them while serving.

Then blend them to a smooth consistency.

Apple Banana Smoothie is ready to serve chill. Garnish it with chopped apples, bananas or nuts of your choice.

Quick Tips
- Using boiled milk is the best way to avoid bacteria present in raw milk.
- You can also add nuts of your choice to this smoothie.
- After blending, if you want, you can also refrigerate for at least 30 mins before serving.
