Cabbage Sabzi is a simple side dish recipe that is made with cabbage and potatoes. This cabbage sabzi is perfect for lunch and lunch boxes. You can also use it as stuffing for the bread sandwich for breakfast or snack. This sabzi will be perfect for rolling inside the rotis and you can serve it for lunch boxes as well. Also, sabzi goes well with plain rice or parathas or rotis.

To this cabbage sabzi, you can also add green peas as an alternate for potatoes. I usually add potatoes with the cabbages and when I have green peas I use to add them. In case, if you don’t have any potatoes and peas, you can simply proceed with the chopped cabbages. I always add any of the vegetables to my diet though I have any of the non-veg recipes since adding veggies takes an important role in our healthy diet. So make sure to add vegetables to your diet for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Moreover, you can make several dishes using cabbages such as cabbage pakoda, cabbage for burger stuffing, cabbage thoran, cabbage sabzi without potatoes and peas, cabbage bajji and many more. Also, cleaning the cabbage takes an important role since it contains worms inside. When you clean them, cut the core part and place the cabbages into the hot water. When you place them in the hot water, the joints will disjoint and it will be easy for chopping. Finally, try this recipe and let me know how it turns out for you.

Quick Tips
- While adding salt, remember to add the salt according to the cabbage quantity.
- Pour water up to the cabbage level or a bit lesser than cabbage but not add excess water. If so, you can turn to flame to the high and allow the water to evaporate.
- You can also add green peas to the sabzi, which also will add more taste to the dish.
