Steps for making Pineapple Sweet Recipe

  • Heat the ghee in the pan and add cashews and raisins to it. Fry the nuts until it turns golden brown and keep it aside.
  • Then simmer the flame and one tablespoon of ghee if required. Add sooji (Rava) to the pan. Roast it until it turns aromatic and keep it aside. Saute it in the low medium flame so that sooji does not get burnt.

  • Next, add pineapple pulp to the pan and saute it gently in a low medium flame. You can see the changing colour of the pulp and also can add a quarter teaspoon of ghee if necessary.
  • Then completely turn the flame to simmer. Add enough water to the pulp and bring it to a boil. While boiling water you can turn the flame to higher mode so that the water will boil soon.
  • Once the water boiled, add roasted sooji to it and mix it well quickly so that you can avoid forming lumps. Mix it in a low flame as the sooji absorbs water quickly.
  • Add a tablespoon of ghee and close cook for 5 mins in a medium. When we close and cook, you can see that the sooji absorbs the water well and gets boiled too.
  • After 5 mins add another tablespoon of ghee and sugar to it. Mix it well after adding sugar to it.
  • Once you add sugar to it, you can see that the pineapple Kesari is turning to the liquid stage. Keep on stirring on a medium flame. You can feel the aroma while cooking this pineapple sweet recipe. While stirring, Kesari slowly turns bouncy and starts to leave the pan automatically.
